B. Tech. or an equivalent degree in Chemical Engg. or BioChemical Engg. /Electrochemical Engg. /Energy Engg. /Environmental Engg. /Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology/Oil Technology with a valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering.
APPLICATION FEES OF M.TECH PROGRAMME:
500RS (Five hundred only) for GEN and OBC
250RS (Two hundred fifty only) for SC, ST and PwD
FEES STRUCTURE:
Financial assistance in the form of Institute assistantships is available to the students admitted to M Tech programme under Full Time Regular Registration Category. Presently the assistantships @ Rs 12,400/- per month (for GATE qualified) is available. The non-GATE candidates, if admitted in the M Tech programmes at the EIB Centre will be provided with an Institute assistantship of Rs 8000.00 per month.
SELECTION CRITERIA OF M.TECH PROGRAMME:
For Full Time Regular Registration Category, competitors shortlisted based on GATE Score which is legitimate or more the passing pass mark, might be chosen for M Tech programs either based on their GATE score or composed test or meet or based on any mix of these as pronounced by the individual division.
The Non-GATE applicants need to qualify the composed test and the Interview for choice into M Tech programs at EIB Center.
For confirmation under different classifications, competitors are excluded from showing up in the composed test.

QUALIFICATION OF PH.D PROGRAMMES:
Ph D in Engineering:
Applicants with Master’s degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Master’s degree level.
Applicants with Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Bachelor’s degree level. Applicant with more than two years of professional experience, the minimum requirement shall be 70% marks or 7.0 CPI (on 10 point scale) at Bachelor degree provided the degree is from an Institution funded by the Central Government.
Applicants with Master’s degree in science as an allied discipline/area (where science is an allied discipline/area), must satisfy each of the following criteria:
A minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Master’s degree level,
A minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Bachelor’s degree level.
Ph D in Sciences:
Applicants with Master’s degree in science in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Master’s degree level.
Applicants with four year Bachelor’s degree in Science in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Bachelor’s degree level. Applicant with more than two years of professional experience, the minimum requirement shall be 70% marks or 7.0 CPI (on 10 point scale) at Bachelor degree provided the degree is from an Institution funded by the Central Government.
Ph D in Humanities:
Applicants with Master’s degree in Engineering with a minimum CPI of 6.00 on a 10.0 point scale (or 60% marks) in the qualifying degree.
Applicants with Master’s degree in Humanities/Science or allied subjects with a minimum CPI of 6.00 on a 10.0 point scale (or 60% marks) in the qualifying degree.
Applicants with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences (4-Year program) with a minimum CPI of 7.50 on a 10.0 point scale (or 75% marks) in the Bachelor degree. Applicant with more than two years of professional experience, the minimum requirement shall be 70% marks or 7.0 CPI (on 10 point scale) at Bachelor degree provide the degree is from an Institution funded by the Central Government.
Ph D in Management Studies:
Applicants with Master’s degree or equivalent in the management or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Master’s degree level.
Applicants with Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the Bachelor’s degree level.
