ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Integrated M.Phil.-Ph.D. Programme
Applicant seeking admission to the Integrated M.Phil/Ph.D. Programme or Ph.D. programme shall have a minimum of 55% marks (50% shall be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layers)/ Differently-abled category in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute) or its equivalent grade in Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and allied disciplines from a recognized university.
Ph.D. (Full-time) Programme
A candidate seeking admission to Ph.D. (full-time) programme should meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in Para (a) & (b) above.
A Candidate shall have an M.Phil. Degree in an area closely related to Educational Planning and Administration and/or exceptionally brilliant academic record coupled with publications of high quality.
M.Phil. Graduates will be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Programme after due scrutiny by the Admission Committee, if they obtain a FGPA of 5 or above on the ten point scale.
Part-time Programme
Applicant looking for admission to Part-time Ph.D. program is needed to meet the accompanying models: (I) Should meet the qualification standards as referenced in Para 3.1 (an and b) above; (ii) At present, ought to be in everyday employment;(iii) Should be a senior level instructive functionary with at least five years’ work insight in instructing/research in instructive arrangement, arranging and organization.
