Qualification:

Diploma / BE in electrical / Mechanical engineering with 5 to 10 years’ experience in material planning & procurement.

Responsibility:

Segments the materials portfolio using the ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management, and commercial policy
establishes inventory guidelines in light of this segmentation
determines and keeps track of the inventory criteria, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies, in planning systems and ERPs.
collaborates with buyers to achieve the greatest supplier performance possible in terms of supplier lead time, quality, MOQ, and lead-time.
Coordinates material planning with call offs with the help of Operations Buyers and GBS, and sees to it that purchase requisitions are turned into purchase orders.
