The Technical Development Establishments (TDEs) of the Indian Army, the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP), and the Defence Science Organization were combined to become DRDO in 1958. (DSO). At the time, DRDO was a modest organisation with 10 locations or laboratories.Walk-in interview of the candidates fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below for a period of two years is to be held in DMSRDE, Kanpur to award Research Associateship & Junior Research Fellowship.

1)Research Associateship:

2)Junior Research Fellowship:

Post graduate degree in relevant discipline (Basic Science) in first division with NET qualification.

Upper age limit:

For RA is 35 years

and

for JRF is 28 years

Stipend:

54,000/- p.m. for RA and % 31,000/- p.m. (1 & 2″4 year) for JRF.
