The North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), located in Umiam, is an independent organisation that works with the North Eastern Council (NEC) and Department of Space to support space research and technology-based development in the North Eastern Region. It works on specific application projects using satellite communication, GIS, remote sensing, and space science research.
The Center’s services are beneficial in the management of natural resources, infrastructure planning, health and education, disaster management, and the mission of earth observation applications.
NESAC proposes to recruit the following positions of Project Associate-I on temporary project basis through walk-in-interviewscheduled during 06th to 08th February 2023 at NESAC, Umiam at 08:30 AM (reporting time). Candidates may require to stay for interview for the next day also, at their own expenses.

M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/ Geology/ Geography/ Environmental Science or equivalent.
OR
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
